Concept Note:

Fedora, a city which every man wants to mould in his own way. But the time he spends on making it his own, it’s already too late. Fedora as it was yesterday has already changed and his miniature model of what it could have been remains nothing but a mere toy.

This concept I’ve tried to project is through the overlying theme of Cities and Desires from the book ‘Invisible Cities’ by Italo Calvino. The paper airplane in my short film is symbolic of the small Fedora both literally as well as figuratively. I’ve tried to capture the desires of a person which remain unfulfilled just because they were a second too late. Desires remain a thing of dreams, within the reach of some but unattainable for many.
